Bird Houses, browse our wood and decorative bird houses

Bird houses provide a safe haven for the birds to raise their offspring. It affords them better protection from predators than trees or bushes. For birdwatchers there is no greater thrill than seeing the partners fly to and from the bird house with nesting materials. The dynamics of the several weeks of minding the eggs in the bird house by the couple also gives birdwatchers opportunities for observation. Once the eggs have hatched, theactivity at the bird house increases as the parents fly to and from the the nest with food for their young. Weeks later comes the final thrill as the offspring take their first flight from the bird house to begin their life in the backyard. And the cycle repeats itself with the next inhabitants of your bird house.
